Casino Chip and Collectibles Show returns to Las Vegas this summer

Just like history lovers have museums, poker enthusiasts have something similar to their names, and that is soon to be Las Vegas. Casino Chip & Collectibles Show is about to enter its 30th edition, and if the announcement is to be believed, the show will be hosted in Las Vegas by South Point Hotel & Casino.

Call it a paradise for all poker enthusiasts since they can access memorabilia like slot cards, dice, and matchbooks, among other things. Moreover, they can see how collectibles are traded and evaluated. It is estimated that more than 50 dealers will be present for the event, coming from different parts of the world.

The Casino Chip & Collectibles Show is tentatively scheduled to begin on June 15, 2023, and end on June 17, 2023. Interested visitors can visit any day for a minimal fee that is otherwise waived for those who are under the age of 18. Also, visitors attending the show on the final day, which is June 17, 2023, will not be charged anything for the show.

On June 15, 2023, attendees entering Expo Hall C of the hotel will be charged a $10 entrance fee. Those who arrive the next day will have to pay $5 less to enter the show.

Operated by the Casino Collectibles Association, the Casino Chip & Collectibles Show is expected to host a larger audience this year. It will happen alongside the World Series of Poker and Grand Poker Series at Golden Nugget. In other words, people will be somewhere around the venue, and there is a high chance that they could drop by.

The entry gate for the Casino Chip & Collectibles Show will open as follows:

DateTiming
June 15, 2023 (Thursday)10 am to 5 pm
June 16, 2023 (Friday)9 am to 4 pm
June 17, 2023 (Saturday)9 am to 4 pm

The Casino Chip & Collectibles Show is known for attracting big names. For instance, the edition in 2021 saw Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher attend the show. The show also comes with a commitment to hosting educational seminars every day along with a live auction of casino chips and memorabilia. Some of the items to go up for auction are tokens, chips, slot cards, matchbooks, playing cards, silver strikes, and swizzle sticks, among others.

While admission to the show is at a certain cost, attendees must come with valid ID proof to enter the venue.

The 30th edition of the show nearly replicates all the elements of its 28th edition, where Linda and Jan held out signed autographs to visitors. Both poker legends took selfies and greeted the visitors. The names of this year’s guests are not yet public; however, one can assume someone will definitely make an appearance.
