Celtics beat Hawks to qualify for the Eastern Conference semis

Boston Celtics entered the sixth game against the Atlanta Hawks with a mission. It appeared as if Al Horford wanted the basketball match to end as soon as possible.

The player prevented the Hawks from forcing Game 7 by hitting a crucial 3-pointer in the late game. The heroics of the 36-year-old helped the Celtics qualify for the Eastern Conference semifinals.

The agitation to end the match quickly came from the Celtics’ point of view. The team lost its 13-point lead in Game 5’s fourth quarter. Thus, it gave the Hawks a chance to force Game 6.

However, the Celtics showed determination throughout Game 6 to end the Hawks’ run. After beating the former team, Al Horford talked about their game plan. The player revealed that the team wanted to finish the game quickly. Everyone was upset about the previous game and showed a sense of urgency.

Every member understood the importance of the game and did not want to extend the series, added Horford.

Horford’s 3-pointer in the fourth quarter helped the player secure 10 points in the game. However, it was Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum who led the team by example. The forwards secured 32 and 30 points, respectively, for the Celtics. In addition, they registered 5 and 13 rebounds in Game 6.

Both forwards were among the most popular choices in fantasy basketball. Given their marvelous performance, their value across the NBA crypto betting sites has gone even higher. Thus, fantasy players are likely to add Brown and Tatum to their teams during the semis as well.

On the other hand, Trae Young tried to keep the Hawks in contention throughout Game 6. The player secured 30 points with 3 rebounds and 10 assists. Even then, the Celtics managed to keep their cool and move on to the next stage. Now, the Celtics are getting ready to face the 76ers in Game 1 on May 2.
