Takings in casinos went up by 27% as per Nevada’s Gaming Control Board. Harry Reid International Airport reported that more than 4.3 million visitors passed through its gates.
The numbers give hope to the city’s casino industry, which was earlier shattered due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Conditions were similar to being a ghost town as the city registered losses of billions of dollars amid lockdowns and closures.
Fortunately, a break has been caught as the country opens up and the economy begins to recover the losses. Casinos in Las Vegas have already started reaping the rewards through visitors coming in large numbers.
