After eight and a half hours of battle on Sunday night, Michael “stiltwalk” Mercaldo defeated Joseph “ShoeGoat” Walters in No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout to win the 2022 WSOP Online Event #23:$1,500. He won his second WSOP bracelet and the $68,005 winning prize.

The 2022 World Series of Poker Online Event #23: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout had 244 online players generating a jackpot of $335,500.

The virtual felt observed many players putting in their seamless effort but could not sustain the final table round.

The final heads-up started between Michael Mercaldo and Joseph Walters. The action went back and forth for about ten minutes until Walters picked his pocket against Mercaldo’s eights. The board finished displaying queen-high, and Walters had to settle for the runner-up position. Mercaldo won the event and secured his second WSOP bracelet and the winning amount of $68,005.

Stairway to Millions was originally planned to include a total of 12 rounds; however, the final two rounds went for a spin after the Venetian Resort abruptly canceled them following the conclusion of the 10th round. A total of $1.1 million in guarantee went unclaimed. No one stood a chance to go after the big prize and claim it for their bank.

One of the tournaments to get canceled was a $25,500 buy-in round with a guarantee of $500,000. Winners would receive a ticket for the next round with a buy-in of $51,000 and a guarantee of $600,000.

Some players managed to get in but only returned with disappointment after announcing that the final two rounds would not be taking place.

The entire fandom erupted against the resort over its sudden event cancellation. Needless today, no one took it well, let alone those participants who made their way into the finals.

PokerGO Stairways to Millions did have a reason, though. While the first eight games went on smoothly with no delay or shortfall, the remaining eight games met a different kind of fortune. The round with a $10,400 buy-in fell short by $20,000 for its guarantee of $200,000 after only 18 players showed up. Another round fell short by $30,000 for the guarantee of $300,000. It had a $15,500 buy-in.

PokerGO announced that the final two rounds were canceled, and the tournament lasted only 10 rounds. This is not the first time an event has come to a sudden end. The same fate was earlier delivered by Hustler Casino when multiple Day 1 flights were canceled during the $250,000 guaranteed tournament.

However, the organizers adjusted the final prize pool as the actually planned prize pool was not being fulfilled. The Lodge Card Club in Texas fell short by a huge margin. The prize was a biggie, too and participants of the May Lodge Championship Series Main Event were hopeful of winning big with a guarantee of $2 million.

News later dropped that the organizer was short by $300,000. PokerGO Stairway To Millions ended with ten rounds, where Paul Zappulla won the largest prize of $124,500 in the final round. The ninth round favored Michael Rocco, taking $61,750 back home.

As per the poker news, Andre Butler topped the eighth round, where the prize pool was $210,000. Out of which, Andre claimed $60,694 in his account. Chance Kornuth struck a deal in the seventh round, with $45,373 for the reward. The prize pool of $230,000 was then shared among others.

The remaining six rounds were equally interesting, with players eyeing their seats in the final two rounds, something that never happened.

The 2022 Grosvenor Goliath X Main Event recently concluded with Kyle Jeffrey topping 10,584 participants. The player won the biggest poker tournament ever to take home a whopping 200,000 pounds winning amount.

As per the game news, Luke Cheslin ended the tourney at the second spot, winning 134,000 pounds. Before the event, Jeffrey merely had 11,000 pounds in total winnings. Now, the player has turned 150 pounds into what can be called a truly life-changing amount.

Here is a quick overview of the final table results of the event:

After winning, Jeffrey was asked about the event and the overall experience. The player stated that Goliath was primarily all about fun with a minor chance to earn some money for future opportunities.

Jeffrey added that as soon as the payout reached 4,000 pounds, the player started thinking it was huge. The amount kept growing until the player focused more on the game, got the chips, and played naturally.

Since Jeffrey has extensive experience in hyper turbos, the player managed to keep the pressure on the opponents towards the end. It paid off, and the player also got lucky with the cards.

The entire arena was delighted with Jeffrey winning as the player followed Elliott Marais’ win four years ago at the same event.

A unique poker pairing will combine popular American streamer Ebony Kenney and Phil Nagy, a poker industry executive, in the peculiar big shot event, the Coin Rivet Invitational during Triton Poker Series Cyprus. According to a press release announcing the event, the $200,000 buy-in single-entry Coin Rivet Invitational, which is inspired by the Triton Million played in London in 2019, would have high-profile corporate executives and poker pros competing.

Like the 2019 edition in London, the professionals and amateurs will play individually on Day 1 before competing against one another during the three-day event.

The latest World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion Espen Jorstad and British club owner Rob Yong are just a few of the pairings for the 80-player limit event that have already been revealed. Other duos involve Paul Phua and Poker Hall of Famer Phil Ivey, Paul Newey and high stakes crushing legend Steve O’Dwyer, and Seth Davies and business tycoon Eric Worre.

On August 24, Triton Poker revealed that Nagy had extended an invitation to Kenney to play a part in the game, which would occur during the first-ever Luxon Pay Mediterranean Poker Party, which is presently taking place.

After the Championship Series, Kenney told PokerNews that Nagy contacted her while she was en route to Joshua Tree. He told her that she would be participating in the Triton event and that it would be happening.

Kenney, a seasoned poker professional with $412,796 in live Hendon Mob profits, may change his life due to the invitation to the coveted High Roller event.

As per the poker news, Kenney expressed her appreciation for Nagy’s decision to give someone a shot which, in his opinion, wouldn’t have otherwise had this opportunity.

The Twitch streamer’s greatest buy-in is the $10,000 WSOP Main Event, which is only a small portion of the money she will put up in Cyprus. The $200,000 buy-in tournament is a significant increase in stakes for her.

Kenney chuckled when questioned if this would have the highest buy-in of her life.

Sosia Jiang, an entrepreneur, will join Kenney at the poker table. Kenney is the only female poker professional invited to the tournament thus far. Kenney stated that she has been extremely open about my support for women in poker and how important representation is, and that she does not take her position as the only female professional in the competition casually.

To win, Kenney will have to beat a select group of talented competitors, including Jason Koon, Ben Lamb, Laszlo Bujtas, Stephen Chidwick, and others.

Nagy will also have a difficult task ahead of him. The high-stakes businesspeople Bobby Baldwin, Tony G, and Wai Kin Yong, each with thousands in total earnings, will compete against the poker CEO from Costa Rica with $31,720 in live income.

WSOP is an extended digital arm of Caesars Entertainment, a renowned casino brand worldwide. WSOP has been positioned to offer the best experience online and offline, and it is a proud organizer of the World Series of Poker Online.

The event officially began in 1970 and was completed 50 years in 2020. A total of $3.3 billion has been awarded to players till now, and WSOP remains the most trusted name in the industry.

While the event has a history of 50 years, WSOP.com started only in 2013 after the State of Nevada legalized online poker operations for the first time. Since then, online poker and offline poker have heard many discussions about which is better. It is entirely a personal choice; however, the majority of the numbers do go in favor of online poker.

Distance between the players does not matter as anyone can connect with others to play a game. Users can play multiple tables simultaneously with online poker and still enjoy a higher speed than offline poker.

One can engage with the content silently as they only have to press a button on the device to order action. More details about the event are awaited.

InPoker announces that it has launched a referral program for users who have registered on the platform. The referral program enables users to earn a continuous commission of 30% on every new member who registers on the platform. The fee can be collected after a player generates 2 BUSD in rake.

While every referral program only allows its partners to earn a one-time commission, InPoker has chosen to make a difference by going in a different direction. Registered users who can get new users onboard end up making passive income regularly and not just one time.

All they have to do is generate a unique link and share it on social media or directly with the person they know. Once they register and engage with the content, generating positives for the platform, users earn a commission every month.

The referral program launched by InPoker is open for all, provided they register on the platform. Once registered, users are directed to a dedicated dashboard where they can generate a unique link that helps keep track of the invited users. The dedicated dashboard gives an insight into how much a user has accumulated in terms of rewards.

A list of invited users can also be viewed on the dashboard. Details related to sub-affiliation and cookie duration are currently unavailable, and they could be shared in the coming days as many more details are awaited by the people.

It is important to note that only those invited users are counted who click on the link shared by registered users. In case a different link is used, then that does not get in the list of Invited Users. Clicking on the link and registering on the platform is the only way they are counted as a valid entry.

Invited users can take time to engage with the content and generate rake. In other words, a user immediately registering on the platform does not guarantee a reward immediately unless they instantly engage with the content. Earnings generally appear in the Payout section of the dashboard.

The generated link can either be sent directly via Email or copied-pasted on other communication channels, and both are great ways of getting more users on board. Emails must, however, be restricted to those who are aware of who the registered user is to avoid getting marked Spam.

Social Media sharing is a much better way to reach a wider audience. It applies mostly to those who are influencers, but users with small followings can do wonders as well. It is all about how much the word is spread.

Referral Programs are a great way for businesses and users to earn decent money. Businesses earn as they get a newly registered user, and users earn in the form of a commission. The referral program launched by InPoker aims to do exactly the same but with a continuous commission.

Polygon took to Twitter to announce its partnership with POKERACES, a poker game that aims at bringing fun back to online poker. POKERACES is built on Polygon, and the partnership further strengthens its operations in the industry.

POKERACES has started minting non-fungible tokens at 10,000 units. Holders of these NFTs will gain access to an exclusive AI Hold’em race that takes only a few minutes to get to the money.

There is another way in which users can earn money that can be counted as extra. NFTs held by players can be rented out to other players while they are inactive in the gaming dashboard. This allows other players to have an NFT in their profile for a while, for which the lender earns an additional income.

The performance of a player is monitored by the proprietary algorithm that is also responsible for distributing token rewards to the members of the community.

All the NFTs have a unique poker DNA coded in their metadata. The Ace battles another poker NFTs in a race to the money, which is later taken over by the player to go for the win. POKERACES leverages two upcoming technologies, namely NFTs and AI, to bring fun back to online poker.

While the trend of online poker is yet to go out of fashion, it is indeed nice to experience innovation at a stage before online poker goes out of style altogether. As a poker game, POKERACES has done remarkably in the industry, and it is now time to take its achievements to the next level through the partnership with Polygon.

Polygon is a team of people constantly looking to contribute to a decentralized future. The network drives a developer’s decentralized applications to the finishing line without the developer having to worry about the gas, speed, and safety.

More than 19,000 decentralized applications have registered their presence on Polygon, with 130M+ unique users on board. Approximately 3 million daily transactions are recorded on the network, taking the total number of transactions to over 3.4 billion since the network’s inception.

The journey started in 2017 when MATIC was founded, a name that was later rebranded to Polygon in February 2021. Polygon started onboarding top games in June 2020 and major DeFi protocols in April 2021. June 2021 and July 2021 were crucial months as both months turned out to be game changers for the future of Polygon.

Polygon Edge and Polygon Studios made their remarkable debut during that time, making way for exciting times to come. One such instance happened in April 2022 when Polygon announced that it had gone carbon-neutral.

Polygon Avail launch happened in June-July 2021, followed by the launch of zk-STARK in November 2021. The technology is based on the scaling solution Polygon Miden. The partnership between Polygon and POKERACES brings not just fun but also curiosity about what else the community can expect to happen in the future.

Jeremy Wien questioned if the opponent had better cards or the same ones before turning over his cards. The opponent appreciated the move before going all-in before doubling Jeremy Wien to increase the point by 1,370,000.

It began with the opponent gunning 40,000 and Jeremy Wien betting to 130,000. The call was made to deliver a flop; however, Jeremy Wien continued to bet 105,000, followed by 180,000. Another call from the opponent was the last move before Jeremy Wien left 500,000 to bet for 260,000.

A small deliberation came to play with the result of going all in. Words thrown by Wien were this is so sick. He questioned if the other hand has a similar queen and jack combination with a diamond. He ended up going out, knowing it was time as he had to go out one way or another.

That turned out to be the point for the opponent to reveal how awesome that move was as it doubled him up fully. Not everyone met the same fate. Toby Lewis went against Joe Altman only to get cut off along with three more players who went flop. Termed as an early position player, his elimination was quite a shock.

Poker is filled with twists with plates leaving unexpectedly amid the low surety of who has the best card in their hands. Altman made the final call after Lewis went all for roughly 1,000,000 in response to Altman’s bet of 350,000. Altman’s flop quad paid off as the set on the hands of Lewis was no good a match on the table.

Losing everything to Toby Lewis gave Joseph Altman the up of 2,373,000, taking his total figure to 2,750,000. Another instance where tides turned unexpectedly was when Allen doubled as the Day 4 came close to the end. The early position raised 40,000, and the action slipped back to the initial raiser after the player went all in.

Cards went to the table after Allen called off his stack of 825,000. He earned a double up at late night, close to the end to up the hand by 300,000 for the total of 1,700,000.

Cedrric Trevino went up to 2,000,000 with 330,000 added to his hand. His opponent shrugged, calling it a nice hand, and handed over the addition for a perfect total figure. Trevino thought before calling for the second pair, unaware that it would eventually come to his side.

However, he is still behind Zilong Zhang, up by 645,000 for a total of 2,920,000. He crossed the mark on the PokerGo stream with a lot of action against Dan Smith, who went down by 630,000, bidding farewell to the 2 million clubs.

Shiva Dudani of Chicago, Illinois, who has won two WSOP Circuit rings, will be the one to knock. Shiva Dudani lit the tournament, taking the chip top spot and solidifying it to carry 15,650,000 into Tuesday’s Day 4.

Tom Hu, who had the chip lead for most of the late afternoon until he lost a significant pot to Dudani, placed 3rd with 7,330,000, while Michael Duek ranks second with 9,405,000.

The grand prize of $1,246,770 and among the most prestigious World Series of Poker bracelets accessible is on the line for Tuesday’s final 5 players.

The day started with 39 players, but that field was quickly reduced by the first break when nine players were eliminated. Shortly after that, the field had been reduced to three tables after Tommi Lankinen was eliminated by Duek, who had earlier in the day moved up the leaderboard.

Several notable contestants were eliminated in the subsequent round that resulted in dinner, including David Coleman (19th), Jeff Madsen (19th), and Brandon Adams (24th) (17th).

The Paris Ballroom hosted a record-breaking field of 641 participants for Day 1 of WSOP Event #69: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship (8-handed).

The field will keep expanding as long as enrollment opens, breaking the previous 518 entries set in 2019. Scott Seiver (452,000) and defending champion Tommy Le (400,000) will have the largest stacks to progress.

While 2019 champion Dash Dudley (65,000), Bruno Fitoussi (60,000), Matt Glantz (39,000), and 3-time bracelet winner Phillip Hui (26,500) are among those with a few jobs ahead of them on Day 2, Patrick Leonard (342,000), Allan Le (330,000), and Ken Aldridge (312,000) are and many others to grab big.

Due to a large number of participants, many prominent people, including multiple bracelet winners Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Shaun Deeb, and Mike Matusow, to mention a few, did not make it through the day.

Two hundred sixty-four people out of the initial 641 will come back to the Paris Ballroom on Sunday at 2 p.m. Before Sunday’s game begins, quite a few more are likely to join, as mentioned.

The big blind ante is 2,500, and the blinds are 1,000/2,500 to start. The starting stack for late registrants is 24 big blinds.

Before Dudani doubled through him and eliminated Thair Kallabat in a pair of ten million chip pots to end the play before midnight, Hu had amassed a sizable chip lead. With 11:09 left in Level 28 (blinds 60,000 / 120,000 / 120,000 big blind ante), play will resume on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Bally’s Event Center.

World Series Poker 2022 everyone as “the recreational player” Christopher Chatman stole the gold bracelet at the end of Day 1 in Event 24. In a surprising event where marquee players went home empty-handed, Chatman bit off $187,770 from the 7-digit prize pool.

Day 1 of the series started with a flip portion with 8 players brought into one sit & go. Only the winners were allowed to get to the second stage, where they could put their wins to good use. From a total of 1,329 entries to the tournament, only 157 were promoted to stage 2.

Surprisingly, the four-time World Series Poker winner Scott Seiver could not even make it to the 157. Seiver’s all 43 shootings ended up failing him. Other notable players like David Peters, Jeff Gross, and Patrick Leonard were also unable to cut Event 24. However, Chatman’s chips led the chart throughout the day, and the gold bracelet winner was never off the chart.

Chatman seemed as surprised as everyone else because he called himself a recreational player with a job and played cards only once a month. Despite the surprise, he also confirmed that he had experience playing in several tournaments and cash games with his friend Jason over the last few years.

Chatman is from northern Virginia and has been a poker player ever since his high school days. But his interest in professional poker dates back to Chris Moneymaker’s win in the World Series Poker main event in 2003.

Following Chatman, the Israeli player Rafi Elharar secured second place with $116,050 in the bank. Tyler Willse, Ian Steiman, Pete Chen, Austin Apicella, Zach Cheatum, Georgios Sotiropoulos, and Mike Matusow have occupied the subsequent positions in the Top 10. However, none of them were able to cross the $100,000 mark.

Poker

A total of 6,051 started the game on Day 1. Only 2,053 made it to the second day, with only 271 sets to remain for Day 3. Calvin Anderson finished the second day with the largest stack of 4,080,000. He is followed by John Simonia, who bagged 4,000,000.

Calvin Anderson is a two-time winner of the WSOP bracelet. While that fact alone may not be what’s keeping him at the top, it could very well be his skills on the table. The third position stars a resident from Colombia, Sebastian Toro, with 3,520,000 chips in hand.

Day 3 will begin at 10 am local time. The event is protected under the bubble of ClubGG. Amid the tight schedule and controlled protection, players look enthusiastic about returning to the table.

Participants have been able to generate a prize pool of $8,678 835. The winner will receive a payout of $966,577 and a WSOP gold bracelet, and others will receive a minimum of $5,054 in cash. Earlier two days could have been tough for the participants, but those who made it this far will have at least something as a souvenir.

Event #21: $1,500 Monster Stack will go to the 2022 WSOP at Bally’s and Paris Las Vegas. Day 3 is fully packed with 10 levels, where each level lasts 60 minutes. A breathing time of 15 minutes has been accommodated after every second level.

Dinner arrangements have also been considered after Level 29. It will last 60 minutes starting at 7 pm local time. The tournament does not end on Day 3, and players will return on the fourth day to play the winner.

Players from different regions participated in the event. The United States of America did stand a majority, with two retaining the top spot. Other regions left a mark on the list, with Rahul Deevara from India in the tenth position. Joao Simao from Brazil was seen having 3,490,000 chips.

Poker is when players bet on having the best cards compared to others. The game dates back to when traditional casinos started, and poker continues to rule the digital casinos as well. Now that cryptocurrencies are being integrated, there is a rise in the number of people participating in the game.

Cryptocurrencies are yet to be identified by many regions and their governments, and they remain in the gray field with absolutely no effect on their popularity. Tournaments are being organized to promote digital tokens and their adoption.

Many casinos are taking this opportunity to land more customers through welcome bonuses and promotional offers. It is important to consider that the internet is now flooded with operators willing to take undue advantage solely by stealing data and money. Check for regulations and licenses before registering on the online casino.

BetMGM has announced the BetMGM Poker Championship, a tournament with a $3,500 buy-in and a guaranteed high stake of $1 million. The championship will be organized at the Aria Resort & Casino in the coming month.

BetMGM Poker Championship is an attempt by the brand to take on the dominance of Caesars Entertainment in the Las Vegas Strip that it has established through the World Series of Poker, also known as WSOP.

The Las Vegas Strip has seen a lot of championships, like hosting the finals of the Stanley Cup after the Golden Knights advanced to the championship round. The 4.2-mile stretch is now gearing up to experience new competition between the two well-established casino brands.

Both casinos cater to different customers; however, recent developments show a picture where BetMGM and Caesars have opened their doors to cover as many players as possible.

BetMGM has taken over Cosmopolitan to expand its customer base. On the other hand, Caesars has planned to target mode dedicated gamblers by rebranding Bally’s casino under the Horseshoe brand.

Caesars Entertainment has had its fair share of attention through the World Series of Poker, and the success is such that it has managed to draw all the major eyes to television, even for poker.

The World Series of Poker has been used by Caesars not just to crown the winner every year but also to attract a large audience to Las Vegas. With BetMGM in the picture against Caesars, things could change as Caesars has every intention of stealing that limelight.

Luke Staudenmaier, the Director of Poker at BetMGM, stated that the first-ever championship of the brand was descending at the most exciting times of the poker season. Aria Poker Classic is scheduled to run from June 1 to July 17. The period of six weeks will experience hosting nearly 50 events.

Luke Staudenmaier called Aria a legendary poker brand, adding that BetMGM was thrilled with the championship becoming an integral part of the current year’s Poker Classic. Luke Staudenmaier added that the brand would continue to leverage event programming through its relationship with MGM Resorts and world-class US properties while connecting with the players through the internet in their favorite poker rooms.

The World Series of Poker is the richest event of all the sports. One instance is Jamie Gold, a player who defeated 8,772 other players to win a top prize of $12 million, more than as compared to Wimbledon, The Masters, and the Kentucky Derby combined.

Both the brands ultimately compete for customers. The battle could be exciting in the month to come. Assuming things work out well for both brands, the next year could be even more interesting. Both brands will again compete to outperform each other, indirectly benefiting players as they would have more options to participate.

BetMGM has announced Poker Championship with Aria Resort and Casino as the prime location. The Championship will begin on June 23, 2022, and end on June 26, 2022. For the first time, the BetMGM Poker Championship is being organized.

It will coincide with the 2022 Aria Poker Classic. The Championship is a $3,500 buy-in with no limit carrying a guarantee of $1 million. A minimum of 15 players will receive the prize package, including travel expenses, buy-in for the BetMGM Poker Championship, and a five-night stay at Aria.

Another event that will occur for the first time is a $600 buy-in BetMGM Mystery Bounty scheduled for June 25, 2022 (Saturday).

Luke Staudenmier, BetMGM Director of Poker, stated that the first-ever Poker Championship descended on Las Vegas during the most exciting times. Luke Staudenmier added that Aria was a legendary poker brand, and the company was thrilled that the Championship had become an integral part of current year’s Poker Classic.

He also said that the company would leverage event programming and connect with players through its relationship with MGM Resorts and its properties.

As BetMGM continues to expand in the market, it is taking the issue of Problem Gambling more seriously than ever. Since its establishment, BetMGM has focused on tackling Problem Gambling, and it has gotten more advanced with time and has deployed necessary resources accordingly.

Crypto Poker Games- Overview

Crypto Poker is a virtual poker card game that is played on a gaming website with cryptocurrency being the transaction money, and as in the case of a real poker game one plays in casinos, a player can win a hefty amount which can be withdrawn on the website through cryptocurrency.

Getting Started with Crypto Poker Game

Crypto Poker is played by using cryptocurrency on the virtual card table, so you need to have the cryptocurrency beforehand so as to play a crypto poker game.

  • If you don’t already have a crypto wallet, you need to create your account on a reliable cryptocurrency exchange, purchase cryptocurrency, and have your own wallet.
  • From the wallet, you can use cryptocurrency in the online poker game you intend to play.
  • Next comes the process of signing up on bitcoin poker sites.

Poker tables or rooms that accept crypto are available on the following websites:

  • Americas Cardroom
  • Black Chip Poker
  • PokerBros
  • GGPoker
  • Natural8 Poker

Things to Keep in Mind While Playing Crypto Poker Games

  • When making a crypto deposit for playing, make sure that the website doesn’t charge you much.
  • The speed of how quickly your account is funded is often based on the type of crypto used. In many cases, your funds are available in a few minutes. The transactions are far faster than withdrawals that are traditionally processed with fiat currency. That said, each operator works differently with regards to how they credit your funds.
  • For those new to cryptocurrency, think of the price fluctuations in the same vein as stock price fluctuations. A stock’s value is often different at the middle of the day than at the end and may fluctuate throughout the day. It will happen while you are playing.

Perks of Playing a Crypto Poker Game

Crypto Poker Games are transparent and efficient in the sense you get what you see. The use of computer programs minimizes human error.

Another great thing about playing at the best crypto poker site is that if you win, your winnings can increase in value, making you a winner twice over.

The main benefit of using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies to fund your crypto poker account is that you usually don’t have to go through any type of verification process with the operator. However, some operators still require some type of verification for withdrawals, which defeats the purpose of using crypto to play online poker in the first place for many people.

In most situations, all you need to do is fill your account after signing up, then transfer Bitcoin (or another cryptocurrency) and follow the website’s instructions to send bitcoin to your account. When you’re ready to pay out, use your address to request a cashout to your crypto wallet. Be sure to read your gaming site’s fine print!

Conclusion

Consider taking efforts to enhance your Crypto poker strategy once you’ve gained some expertise playing poker. Signing up for a poker training site or even hiring a coach are examples of this. There are several websites that will assist you in improving your game, either for free or for a charge. Keep learning no matter which path you take. You will stay longer in Crypto poker if you study and adjust your game.

Layne Flack’s family and friends are holding a memorial on August 20th at a bar in Las Vegas. The group has decided to share memories and stories of the late comedic professional who passed away recently.

Matt Savage, Executive Tour Director at WPT, is backing the function since he was also close with Layne. The event will run from 5 pm to 8 pm at Brooksy’s Bar and Grill.

Matt talked about the function in an interview, stating he is expecting some of Layne’s close friends to be there. Some of the names include Todd Brunson, Chip Jett, and Ted Forrest. While Matt also wants Doyle Brunson to be present, the player might not be able to make it.

The player turned 88 recently and, despite being a legend, is relatively away from the limelight. Unfortunately, as the player planned to participate in multiple World Series of Poker Events this fall, his wife, Louis Brunson, experienced a medical condition. While Louise left the hospital the same day, the legend prefers to be at home with her. That is why the participation of Doyle is not confirmed.

Rk Brooks, the owner of Brooksy’s Bar and Grill, was also a close friend of Layne. The bar is located at 9295 Flamingo Road, Las Vegas. The bar will offer a limited space since Matt expects several of Layne’s friends to make it to the function.

Before passing away at the age of 52, Layne created a legacy within the poker circuit. Thus, the function will surely be filled with numerous stories and incidents regarding the player.

The player scored five World Series of Poker gold bracelets between 1999-2003, accounting for six of the total career wins. Matt went as far as to state that Layne was the best in business during the 2000s by a mile.

The player is also known to be a great father, gambler, and golfer. Many even deem Layne as one of the funniest players in the space. Layne spent most of his life in Las Vegas and won over 5 million dollars in tournaments.

The state lines are still seeing ongoing work for sharing of liquidity by the US. At the same time, all of the sites of WSOP.com have been entitled to the availability of a bonus. All of the rooms of WSOP will see the promotion for the new DIY Bonus open for the players residing across the states of Nevada, Pennsylvania, to New Jersey. The period between 15th to August 22 has been earmarked for encouraging the players to build their bonuses.

The customary regulation sees promotions and bonuses being tailor-made to suit specificities or certain conditions regarding the market. In comparison, for WSOP.com, the same bonus has been earmarked for all the markets where the advantage lies with the players in choosing the bonus they want to earn. This is dependent on how much time each player can devote to playing. This is entirely in the player’s hands to make as much free money they want to earn. Controlling the experiences is an adage that comes with opting for promotions by the players and sees the bonus directly proportional to the amount of time devoted for play.

Building A Bonus

The simplest of details make up the promotions for the new DIY Bonus feature. This is where one can opt for playing across any of the sites from WSOP PA, WSOP NJ to WSOP Nevada and all one needs to do is opt for the email-provided WSOP links. This gets the game started, and players can start their cash poker journey and collect as much as APPs. Unlocking a bigger bonus requires each player to earn the maximum APPs while the promotions are up and running. The same will be available for the duration spanning from15th to August 22. APPs can be earned for bonuses till 11:59 pm on August 22.

Playing cash games on the WSOP.com site will enable players to get a shot at accruing the DIY Bonus cash. The criteria specify the players to be active and play for three days while the promotional period is ongoing. The same also mentions earning a minimum of 1 APP for each of the days logged in will qualify for the bonus cash. A round-up of the APP points will be done once the promotional period will get over. Every player needs a minimum of 1000 points to make it to the level of 100 dollars.

PA Highlights including Keystone Classic and Bracelets

August 1 saw the leading domestic bracelet series of NJ and NV, while eight more US bracelets are in the offing. The same will be handed out to the players of WSOP PA starting from August 8. The guaranteed 500,000 dollars Keystone Classic series and a progressive knockout series are in the offing for the late half of August.

The operator will choose five qualifiers daily throughout the week, with the final day having eight satellites. Every qualified player can win the 12,500 packages with different buy-in options.

Winning poker tournaments is challenging, and Daniel Negreanu understands it well. The player did not land a tournament win since 2013, giving critics substance to attack the player. But Daniel shut down the critics by winning 700,000 dollars at the PokerGO Cup.

The 50,000 dollars buy-in tournament had a no-limit hold ’em format. Daniel defeated 35 participants and won at the studio arranged by Aria. After winning, Daniel stated that “the hardest part of the tournament was emotions. Over the years, the weight of continuously placing second was too heavy. So while playing at the final table, Daniel only thought about not placing second. Anything but second place.”

Other than the curse of placing second, the player also suffered two major heads-up defeats. The first came against Dough Polk, where the player lost 1.2 million dollars. The second loss came against Phil Hellmuth, where Daniel lost three heads-up watches for 350,000 dollars.

According to the Hendon Mob Poker, the 46-year old veteran has amassed over 42 million dollars during his illustrious career. After Daniel’s last victory in 2013, the player placed second 10 times.

Daniel admitted that sitting at the final table resurfaced the bad feelings of placing second. The player compared his situation to the flashbacks showing movies where characters know they will die and witness their entire life unroll. The player started seeing all the second placements before hearing the winning announcement.

Daniel managed to take back the chip lead during the final round and beat Coleman with 10-K against pocket fives. Luck sided with the player as the deck drew a ten on the river, marking Daniel’s victory in 8 long years.

Coleman went home with 455,000 dollars while Daniel scored 700,000 dollars. However, the player did not rest and instantly joined the PokerGO finale, a 100,000 dollars buy-in no-limit event. Daniel likes to compete against elite players, and the event comprises several of them.

To know whether a player is the best or among the best, it is necessary to play such events, said Daniel. With the player finally tasting victory after eight years, he has become one of the favorites to win the finale as well.

One of Las Vegas’s most iconic establishments, The Plaza Hotel & Casino, which has been operating successfully in Las Vegas for the past 50 years, is now being honored by the Nevada Preservation Foundation. The foundation has considered this casino hotel as a building of “historical significance.”

The foundation presented a bronze plaque to Jonathan Jossel, CEO of The Plaza. Jossel said the award would be kept in the lobby so that guests can see it.

Technically, the plaza will celebrate the 50th anniversary on July 2, but the foundation has coordinated with the hotel to celebrate throughout the year.

In the past, many felt that the site should be demolished to turn it into a modern casino. Among these people was Oscar Goodman, the former Las Vegas mayor who was keen on something new that could have a picturesque entry to Union Park. However, by 2010, the renovation project of $35 million began.

Legacy of Las Vegas’s History

The Plaza opened its doors to patrons on the 2nd of July in 1971 at the first train depot site. The original name of the property was Union Plaza and was based on the Union Pacific. The long-running relationship with the railroad remained steady until the discontinuation of the Desert Wind Route in 1997.

At the time, The Plaza was the biggest casino hotel globally, having around 500 rooms.

Apart from this, the casino hotel has interestingly made an appearance in multiple Hollywood movies like- The Mexican (2001), The Grand (2008), Casino (1995), and others.

According to Cynthia Ammerman, the Nevada Preservation Foundation executive director said that The Plaza is the first commercial space that received this recognition. According to her, commercial spaces like The Plaza represents the heritage of Las Vegas and is reason enough to celebrate the title.

The use of crypto for mainstream gaming is dependent on how long Nevada regulators take to approve. Until then, cryptocurrency cannot be used to directly fund gaming transactions.

The poker scene in Las Vegas, Nevada, is catching up. After months of lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Las Vegas poker clubs are finally gearing up to reopen. Nevada state authorities are easing some of its restrictions on how public establishments can operate during the COVID-19 situation. In the latest developments, two more Las Vegas card rooms are ready to reopen soon.

In September 2020, a couple of more poker establishments are expected to resume their business. Their reopenings stand an opportunity for other poker card rooms to resume their businesses in the coming months. Silver Sevens and Westgate card rooms, located in 15-minute proximity of the Las Vegas Strip, are likely to reopen soon, starting with their small card rooms.

According to the Las Vegas Gambling Commission, Westgate will reopen by September 10th, just a week away from the reopening of Silver Sevens on September 1st. Both card rooms are not among the poker hotspots in Las Vegas. These destinations are instead some small-time casinos that offer only a limited table area for poker.

Westgate has only eight poker tables and adds a few more on the weekends. It has rarely had its poker card room packed. Silver Sevens is also a mid-sized casino located at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. It has fewer tables, compared to Westgate.  Their reopenings, however, will provide Las Vegas poker players some options and getting back to their lifestyle. The Las Vegas city is trying to rebuild its live poker scene by reopening such small establishments one by one. The main poker destinations in Las Vegas continue to stay closed since mid-March due to the COVID-19 crisis.

By early-2021, more than 50% of Las Vegas poker rooms could be reopened. The global health pandemic will compel major establishments to stay shut. But, small and mid-sized Las Vegas casinos will get a green signal to open their doors. After Westgate and Silver Sevens, around 16 poker rooms will get reopened in the city. The remaining 15 casino establishments, which do not run poker games, will be shut for a longer time. The high revenue share contributed by live poker to Nevada is one of the main reasons why the state is prioritizing the reopening of poker parlors.
